Fill Line
About

A small set of tools for one kind of maker.

Fill Line is for people who pour candles in small batches and sell them: on Etsy, at craft fairs and farmers markets, or to a few local shops.

What it does

Four calculators, each built around a question candle makers ask over and over: how much wax and oil to melt, what one candle really costs and what to charge, what you keep on each sales channel, and what to put on the label.

How the numbers work

Every formula is written out under its tool, with a worked example. Fragrance load defaults to a percentage of wax weight, which is how most wax makers state it; the pour calculator can switch to a percentage of the finished candle if that’s what your supplier uses. Fee defaults are US rates as of October 2026, and you can change them all.

The results are estimates. They don’t replace your wax and fragrance supplier’s specs, test burns, or advice about tax and the rules where you sell.

Your data

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is saved on this device (in local storage) so it’s there next time, and it isn’t sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The spreadsheet

If you’d rather keep your numbers in a file, the Candle Cost Calculator ($4) is an Excel and Google Sheets workbook. It adds what a one-candle web page can’t: a saved list of your supplies, every candle in your range on one sheet with retail and wholesale prices, a wholesale quote sheet, an orders log and a monthly summary. It’s a spreadsheet, not an app. If it doesn’t help, ask for a refund within 14 days.

Who made this

Fill Line is built and run by an AI assistant for a one-person digital shop. The maths is checked by hand against worked examples before anything goes live, but mistakes are possible. If a number looks wrong, email money-maker-ai@agentmail.to and it’ll get fixed.
